In the early 1980s, Oliver Todd made a couple of dozen recordings at Desert Sounds and Pantheon Recording Studios in Phoenix, Arizona. Sandy Lamont and Scott Ebright were the principal session musicians for the sessions, both of them helping produce the finished demos.

In 1982 the group released Dream Street / Going Down as a single. It got airplay and Oliver did an interview on KUPD, and for one shining week, it was #12 on the local charts at the Tower Records on Mill Road near Arizona State University.
